Maestro

If you're happy and you know it, listen to these songs. No? Okay just me. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who listens to certain songs or a type of music when I'm in a good mood. I just so happen to listen to the songs listed above when I am feeling great. Each song is different, but they all make me want to dance and sing my head off.

Counting Stars by OneRepublic is one of my favorites. Once, I heard it I instantly said I must add this song to my play list. I like listening to OneRepublic to begin with, this song just made me love them. The main reasons why I like this song so much is because I know the lyrics and I believe the beat is good. "Old, but I'm not that old young, but I'm not that bold" is my favorite line, after this stanza is the chorus. I don't quite understand the meaning behind this song yet, I think so far it's about love, but I read a comment on YouTube I believe and this particular person thought it was about gambling. I guess the meaning varies, it just depends on the person.

"But I would walk five hundred miles And I would walk five hundred more Just to be the man who walked a thousand miles To fall down at your door..." I'm Gonna Be by the Proclaimers makes me want to watch the movie Pitch Perfect  being that I heard the song from there. Every time I listen to this song I flashback to the movie and it just brings a smile to my face.

Rusted Root really makes me want to wake up in the mornings. No, literally, it's the song for my alarm. I decided to wake up to this because of the beat it has. It's really upbeat and makes me want to smile and be happy all day long.

When I'm in a really good mood I have to sing along to Natasha Bedingfield's Pocketful of Sunshine, I mean c'mon just listen to it, "Do what you want, but you're never gonna break me, sticks and stones are never gonna shake me oh,oh,oh" no one will tear down my happiness when I play this song. I came upon this song when I was watching the movie Easy A featuring Emma Stone as Olive, as shown below she thought it was a horrible song and then she started singing to it her whole weekend. Being that Easy A is one of my favorite movies I watched it about ten times, so I got the song stuck in my head one day. After that it became my official "in-a-good-mood" song.
