 My remix was based off my blog post, I'll Be There For You. In this blog I took the tv show Friends and demonstrated how this show protrays their actresses as "typical" women, such as: indecisive, the dumb blonde, and compulsive perfectionist.

Me, Myself, and I

     When you think about who's the person that's the hardest on you, many people may come to mind. It could be your mom or dad, maybe a close friend, it could be a teacher. Have you actually ever thought that maybe the hardest person on you is yourself? Think about it, you want to push yourself to reach your goals, you want to get the nice car, you want to please someone in particular or just everyone in general.

     Jason Bateman, grew up to be a hilarious comedian. He starred in the movie The Change-Up (rated R). Bateman plays Dave who is a husband, a father, and a workaholic lawyer. He thinks he wants to live the single life. He exchanges lifes with Mitch and realizes how wrong he was about the single life.

Are social medias ruining the way we communicate with one another in person? Sherry Turkle a professor in the Program of Science,  gives her arguement on the issue, she believes that the internet makes us feel alone while we are together.

If you're happy and you know it, listen to these songs. No? Okay just me. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who listens to certain songs or a type of music when I'm in a good mood. I just so happen to listen to the songs listed above when I am feeling great. Each song is different, but they all make me want to dance and sing my head off.

Young and Beautiful

Beautiful definition pleasing the senses or mind aesthetically. Lana del Rey begins her music video with a zoom in on her face. She is showing how beautiful her make up looks and she gives off this very classy presence. If Del Rey would have dress very trashy, then the viewers wouldn't really understand the video since it is titled Young and Beautiful therefore she showed how she is young and beautiful.

Remember to Tip Your Waitress

Len Penzo's article It’s as American as Apple Pie, how common it is for an American to go to a restaurant and simply leaving a tip. Penzo explains how some restaurants include the tip on the bill, and how others have a no tip policy. He disagrees with both, but mainly with the no tip policy. He states that its a custom for Americans to leave a tip according to the service the costumer received. Lastly, he believes that taking away the option of leaving a tip can cause the consumer to obtain a horrible experience at the restaurant. 

Pain Killers New Wording (Summary)

In Sabrina Tavernise's article, on New York Times, she explains that the labeling on painkillers will change by the end of the year. The reasoning for this change are to cut down on prescription drug abuse, which has been the rage now-a-days and to detail the long-term effects the drug has. 

The Boss

Wow, in Working in the Shadows Gabriel Thompson, the author, did back breaking work. He worked with immigrants, he changed his job 3 different times, he worked in different locations. All I did was work at Dairy Queen for a couple months, then I quit.
